Training Pace Zones
Based on your recent marathon times (3:24:06 Philadelphia 2024, 3:29:30 Marine Corps 2023) and Boston Qualifying goal:
- Marathon Pace: 7:35-7:45/mile (Sub 3:20 BQ goal)
- 10K Pace: 7:05-7:15/mile (intervals, threshold work)
- Tempo Pace: 7:20-7:30/mile (comfortably hard efforts)
- 5K Pace: 6:45-6:55/mile (track work, VO2 max intervals)
- MAF Training: ≤135 BPM (aerobic base building)
